Police probing death of pedestrian run down outside Escondido home

Police at the scene of after the pedestrian s death in Escondido Photo courtesy of OnScene TV Escondido police on Friday were scrutinizing the death of a pedestrian after taking in the male driver who struck the victim for questioning At around p m Thursday police received reports that a motorcycle had hit a pedestrian outside a home in the block of S Maple Street according to OnScene TV First responders located the victim and promptly began CPR but pronounced the person dead at the scene Officers though summoned homicide investigators It was unclear if the event is considered an accident or an act of domestic violence Police also stepped in to find care for several children inside the home attempting to contact family members to take custody
